After feeling pumped from my yoga class, I know that seems odd but it’s kind of how I felt, I decided to try a Pilates class today. I’m a bit sore now, but it was really good. I’m planning to head to a yoga class on Friday, and maybe get some cardio in tomorrow, even if its a little lighter than usual (just incase I’m too sore). That probably sounds weak, but I need my range of motion for work, my first class, a butts, abs and thighs class left barely able to walk or squat which made work really hard for about 4-5 days.
I think I’m getting my motivation back now, probably all I needed was a change. I know it’s not true, but I tend to believe in the no pain no gain theory. I actually feel better if I’m sore afterwards, I feel like I put in a better effort and I’m getting some progress. What concerns me is when I don’t get any discomfort afterwards. Although I must say I never leave the exercise bike without feeling some kind of tightness in the thighs.
I’m actually looking forward to my next yoga class.
I’ve got my smoothies, salad and dinner ready for the next two days… Lets maintain this motivation!
