10 Day Challenge: Day 2

Day 2:

Tomorrow is ANZAC day so my possibilities are limited. The gym opens at 1pm, so I plan to head out in the early afternoon, I like to hit the gym during the quiet times.

Strength training tomorrow, so that means 30mins cardio and upper body training.

Meal plan:
If the shops are open my partner would like burgers so I’ll make my own patties with salad, if the shops aren’t open it’ll be oven bake veggies or soup. Brunch of cereal or yoghurt and muslie.

Around the house I plan to do some washing, tidy up, and organise my portfolio for work.

Good luck with your plan!

About myhousewifelifeblog

I am a nurse by trade, and a traditional "de facto" housewife by nature. Constantly seeking a more organised existence. I like to cook, sew and play my keyboard. I try to keep my house organised but I've not yet mastered this, and I am endeavouring to reach my image of ultimate organisation at home. I'm not sure if it's possible, but I'll give it a go.

  1. First of all I would like to say great blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior
to writing. I’ve had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Many thanks!

    • Thank you for the honesty. πŸ™‚

I usually have an idea of what I want to write about and I just sit and write it all in one go. I used to read and re-read things but found I would change something or over analyse. These days I just sit and write something and proof read before I post for typos, especially while I’m on my iPad at the moment.

But to get a start I usually start with the topic, or a question. Just an open comment. Depends what you’re writing about, I often just start with a statement from personal experience and go from there. My blog is based on personal experience and observations. So I find inspiration from things that happen during the day… At the moment my struggle to get some normalcy (if that’s a word), and mostly I wrote about my experiences at trying to get my routine back, and maintain my eating habits and exercise, while getting my life organised. This year my plan is to get the household organised, and tone up after losing weight and getting to my goal.

I find I can write anywhere, I just need to pick my timing. I like to use my iPad for convenience sometimes, but other times I do a little research that’s when I like to sit at a table or desk with my laptop. I often think of things I’d like to write about and make a note on my phone to come back to later…

I’m sorry if that seems like a big ramble that goes nowhere, but I hope I’ve answered your question. πŸ™‚
